Strum-strum

I haven't been doing much iOS work lately and do not plan to renew my developer account, meaning that as of April 2016 this app will no longer be available in the App Store. You may, however, download the full source code to play with on your own. This requires that you have a Mac with Xcode installed. You have my permission do whatever you like with this source, including re-using code, graphics, and sounds for your own project. This app was written in Objective-C.
Strum-strum is a virtual guitar for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. It is a totally playable instrument where chords can be programmed and loaded into groups and played either fingerstyle or as fast and slow strums.
There are lots of cool guitar apps out there, but none that I had tried prior to starting this project lived up to my expectations. I needed something where I could program any chord I wanted and was responsive enough to keep up with the fastest rhythms.
After a while, I came to the conclusion that the only way I could get a guitar app to satisfy my needs was to make my own! I did, and I think it turned out quite well so I have decided to share it with the world. Strum-strum is 100% free with no ads, nag screens or other annoyances.
The following is a very brief demonstration of Strum-strum in action:
